excellent book to understand why policies are written a certian way

Posted by Tim O'Brien on Nov 30th 2017

The book was required reading for our Commander exam. It is very well written with examples that help relate laws to our profession. I'd really appreciate seeing this book become an audio book in the future so I can listen to it again and again. The Varone web pod casts do a great job of keeping you up to date with the latest cases too. Make sure you sign up and listen to those pod casts for additional information. This is a must read for all officers regardless of rank. I also used the instructor CD and tests which will help me, "Pass It On" to others in the future teaching the class to my subordinates. Thanks for making the book.
