| | | | | | | | William D. McCain, Jr. |  | William McCain is a consulting petroleum engineer with Cawley, Gillespie, & Associates in Fort Worth, Texas. He was head of the Dept. of Petroleum Engineering at Mississippi State University, and engineer and project leader with Esso Research Laboratories in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He has a B.S. degree in chemical engineering from Mississippi State University and M.S. and Ph.D degrees from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He holds U.S. patents and has published a number of technical articles. McCain, a graduate of the Airborne School and the Army War College, is a retired Brigadier General.
