| | | | | | | | Tim Marler |  | Tim Marler, president of Vigilant Environmental Consulting, Spring, TX, has worked in the U.S. oil and gas industry since 1981, most of that time with Exxon Co. During his tenure with Exxon in New Orleans, Marler was involved in production work onshore and offshore. He was later transferred to exploration and moved to Houston. In 1991, after years of intensive training in environmental work, Marler embarked on a new career as an independent consultant. Since then, he has undertaken consulting work in the domestic oil and gas industry ranging from conducting environmental studies to serving as a rig superintendent in Oklahoma. He has been published in AAPG publications and is available for seminars on environmental project management.
