Important Ordering Information
- All shipping timelines are calculated in business days (Monday–Friday, excluding holidays).
- Orders qualifying for Free Shipping ship within one business day.
- Orders with Overnight or 2nd Day shipping must be placed by 11:00 a.m. Central Time, Monday–Friday, to ship the same business day. Orders placed after this cutoff or on weekends will ship the next business day.
- The online store accepts orders totaling 150 lbs. or less. For orders exceeding 150 lbs., please call 1-866-777-1814 for assistance and a shipping quote.
- Delivery delays may occur due to weather or other conditions beyond our control. We appreciate your understanding in these rare circumstances.

Shipping rates are calculated based on package weight and destination. To estimate shipping costs, add items to your cart and select Estimate Shipping and Tax, then enter your country, state, and ZIP code.
Shipping charges shown at checkout do not include international duties, taxes, or customs fees. The recipient is responsible for all applicable import charges.

Free ground shipping is available on qualifying orders shipped within the United States.

Return Policy
Customers (excluding resellers and bookstores) may review printed PennWell Books for 15 days risk-free for purchases made from PennWellBooks.com.
Physical Books
To qualify for a return:
- The book must be unused
- The book must be in original condition
- The return must be authorized by PennWell Books
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item was damaged or incorrect.
Refunds will be issued to the original method of payment once the returned item has been received and inspected.
Damaged or Incorrect Items
If a book arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery.
PennWell Books may provide:
- a replacement copy, or
- a full refund
depending on the circumstances.
Digital Products
Due to the nature of digital downloads, ebooks and PDF downloads are generally non-refundable once the file has been delivered or accessed.
If you experience technical difficulties accessing a purchased digital product, please contact us and we will assist you.
Order Cancellations
Orders may be cancelled prior to shipment. Once an order has shipped, it must follow the standard return process.
PennWell Books reserves the right to refuse returns that do not meet these conditions.
Video & Software Products
All diskette and CD-ROM products are intended for use with IBM-compatible personal computers unless otherwise stated. Data diskettes are provided in Microsoft Excel format; users must supply their own compatible software.
Software pricing includes a single-user workstation license. For multi-user licenses, please contact us directly. Due to the nature of these products, no returns are accepted.
Payment Terms
All orders are subject to acceptance by the Publisher. Credit terms may be extended to approved customers in good standing with net 30-day terms. Payments must be made in U.S. dollars via check or money order drawn on a U.S. bank.
PennWell Books reserves the right to correct errors or omissions and to modify pricing or shipping charges without notice.
Sales Tax
Applicable local sales tax will be added to orders shipped to Oklahoma. All sales are presumed taxable unless a valid tax exemption certificate is provided.
