| | | | | | | | James Kirsch |  | James Kirsch is a 27-year veteran of the fire service and currently serves as a career fire lieutenant. A former volunteer fire chief, he is a certified fire instructor, SCBA/smokehouse instructor, and live burn instructor. He is a Logistics Manager with the New Jersey Urban Search and Rescue Team, and the creator of the DVD Live Fire Training in Acquired Structures (Fire Engineering Books & Videos, 2008). He has been a classroom presenter for the Fire Department Instructors Conference, and his articles have been published in Fire Engineering magazine. He holds a master’s degree in public administration.
