| | | | | | | | George Bradford |  | George Bradford is a retired fire captain with more than 30 years in the fire service. More than 25 of those years were spent on some of the busiest engine companies in the San Jose, Calif., Fire Department. He has filled the position of Initial Attack Incident Commander, Division and Group Supervisor, Assistant Strike Team Leader, and Agency Representative. Bradford is a specialist in the wildland environment and was one of the founding members of the San Jose Wildland Committee back in 1975, with which he remained active until 1997. He has taught fire science classes at Mission College as well as wildland fire control methods in various fire academies throughout California.
