Lopatin Dr. Yuri Lopatin is the department Deputy Chief of Prospecting Oilfield Equipment Development at Moscow Machine Works. He served 39 years in VNIIBT and won a Gold Medal of Brussels EUREKA-97 at the 46th International Salon Inventions and Innovations and New Technologies. Lopatin earned a Mining Engineer degree from Moscow Geological Prospecting Institute and a Ph.D. in oil well drilling from Moscow Institute of Oil & Gas.
