Gelfgat Dr. Mikhail Gelfgat is President and CEO of Aquatic Company, an engineering R&D firm in Moscow. Dr. Gelfgat served at Drilling Research Institute for 25 years. His expertise is coring techniques, retractable drillbits, aluminum tubulars, downhole motors and deep wells, and hard rock drilling. He earned his mechanical engineering degree from Moscow High Technical School and his Ph.D. in oil and gas well drilling from VNIIBT.
