She is also the author of the PennWell bestseller, Power Industry Dictionary, and Distributed Generation, Renewable Energy in Nontechnical Language, and Natural Gas & Electric Power in Nontechnical Language. She also served as managing editor for PennWell’s 1998 and 1999 editions of the International Electric Industry Encyclopedia. Ann is a former editor and writer for Power Engineering and Power Engineering International and an author of PennWell’s Power Industry Abbreviator. She earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism and English from Oklahoma State University and logged several years of newspaper experience pre-PennWell.
